I am awake & ready to start my day. 1st task will be getting to work. 424 still looks ice covered from the windows. I didnt have to work yesterday, good thing woke to ice 4-6 inches against all outside doors. I could not get out. Finally had to crawl out of my bedroom window, which is pretty high off the ground (the low windows where frozen & wouldnt open). I lowered my kit. stool out first & after much struggle managed to get out without breaking ME. Then with a box of salt & a grill scraper (shed door froze shut & couldnt get to shovel) I managed to get the back door open enough to squeeze through. Meanwhile the dogs are standing at the door ready to potty. I was still trapped however because the gate was froze shut & I couldnt get out of the back yard. No electricity for most of the day. But THANKS TO CARROLL CO. ELECT. DEPARTMENT they got our power back by mid-afternoon.Thanks guys for the good work.
