I am being held hostage by Parkwest Hospital! I just need a steroid shot! Skin reaction to my IV iron infusion today. Get me the shot so I can get to choir practice! I called my hematologist, he said go to the nearest ER tell them to give you a steroid shot and some Benadryl, then call me. I told them that. Im having an awesome day. Lets not ruin it by being persnickety ! You know when you tell medical professionals exactly what happened, show them a rash--that seems to be going away now that I am out of the sunshine--& tell them, this is what I need, and heres the MD who said so... You would think that we could all work and play well together. But no, to prove that they are in control, they have to ask me if I am suicidal...of, course not, I just need a steroid shot for this rash! Ive got to get to choir practice, which started three minutes ago. Im getting pissed now. 45 minutes in. They know what I need. Over it.
