I am beyond thankful for my two little boys, but suffered from unexplained infertility for several years with no real answers to why this was happening. The Star Tribune published an important article today analyzing personal care product safety and why you should care. Only about 10% of the 10,000 chemicals commonly found in personal care products have safety data -- this is incredibly disturbing. I am working with Beautycounter to change what is accepted in our products, with the goal of eventually changing legislation on this topic and creating a world where our kids never have to read labels. As a society, we should not assume safety in the absence of data, and that is what is being expected of us.
