I am committed to the Neapolitan Mastiff CACEP project. I love the Neapolitan Mastiff and I think that in recent years the health of our beloved breed has been often neglected. Selections have been made with too much skin, changing the expression of our dog, generating too many overly lymphatic subjects, increasing health problems (for eyes, ligaments, reproduction) as well as typical. The current selection does not take much account of the character. In recent years progress has been made in many aspects, but for the future I hope that the Neapolitan Mastiff is healthier, more long-lived, more athletic and muscular. He should be of great size and weight, but depending on the strength and firmness that Neapolitan Mastiffs always had in the past. A Neapolitan Mastiff with no excess, that can play its role as guardian and defender insurmountable. A proud and indomitable dog, as he has always been in its ancient and noble history. For this reason I joined the Neapolitan Mastiff CACEP and have subscribed to this Great Manifesto.
