I am currently stuck on a ride that I desperately want to leave. I am alternating between dizziness and shoulder pain. Both issues, as far as we know, are being caused by my mess of a neck, the demise of which was triggered by my nearly two-years-ago car accident. My dizziness stems from swelling between the top of my spine and the joint between there and my head. My shoulder pain is likely from the disk I herniated in my neck. I am blessed to have a wonderful chiropractor, Dr. Amy Lundin-Jordan, who has kept me going for months. I am also blessed to have Dr. Cutie Pie. He has scheduled me for an MRI on Wednesday and an epidural injection (if the MRI shows that it would help) on Thursday. I am confident Dr. CP will do whatever he can to help me (even if all he can do is hold my hand). On Friday, Dennis and I are heading to Chicago to see the boys. It will be the last time we will see Ian until we spend Thanksgiving with him in L.A. I would appreciate any prayers, good vibes/thoughts you could send my way. I will go to Chicago no matter what (I must see Ian before he heads off on his big L.A. adventure!) but it would be nice to go in better shape than I am in now.
