I am dead serious. Its time I rethink and distinguish who my real friends truly are and the people who only ask for my help in photography and design only when they need me. When I messaged my friends about the traumatizing situation in Hong Kong and asked for a few words of comfort, my requests were mostly fallen onto deaf ears and only a few were to stick around and listen. Most of my messages to people I consider good friends were seen-zoned and no replies. And yet I happened to see their fresh updates of foodies and entertainment as if I were invisible. I maybe unpopular due to my harsh honesty and frank political comments but deep down I know I am still a decent person who is always loyal and faithful to friends in need. I am tired of being exploited and underpaid for my skills and wasting my raw enthusiasm to help. Today I see the true side of these friends and its time for me to stay away and meet new people. I rather have one dear friend than 10 acquaintances who dont really give a damn about me.
