I am delighted to announce that Stockton Council Cabinet agreed yesterday to recommend to the council and public that Thorntree Farm and the land south of Liverton and Lockton Crescents in Thornaby should be formally put back into the Green Wedge. Together the local community and their representatives have been fighting to preserve this land from various unsuitable planning applications and since I was contacted by residents I have been doing what I can to also support them so this is great news.
