I am delighted to introduce the second special featured rosarian Nick Pan. Here is her story and her favourite twelve pictures from her garden this year. I am happy to share my story and obsession garden roses. I live in the SE of Romania, in a hilly area. It all started in 2007, in the yard of my childhood, where I wanted to create a place of relaxation for us and our family and where we invite friends for outdoor parties. We studied magazines and dreaming of a colorful garden. At first chaotic buy plants and plant them without a plan done before. I enrolled on a gardening forum where I met people with the same passion and madness began. The first two Bonica roses were planted in 2008, purchased from a gardening store. In 2009 I bought red roses and climbers I planted around the perimeter of the garden, and in 2010 I made an alley alternate white and yellow roses with berberis. In 2010 I thought to give him a name and then the garden is called Serena Land. I love roses, her obsession began in 2011 and in the fall I bought about 30 roses, various manufacturers and had reached 60 varieties. Since then, every spring and fall enrich collection, and this summer my collection numbered 194 of 156 varieties of roses and of course I did not stop there, even enrich my collection this fall with 20 varieties. We chose to cultivate roses are easy to care for, adaptable to conditions in my country, scented, spectacular and fulfill the dream meu- colorful garden. I love them all and its very hard to stop 10 favorites. I chose 12 pictures, on this occasion I made the selection for the 2015 calendar. Favorites are: Aloha, Blue for You, curbs Rose Crown Princess Margareta, Falstaff, Ginger Sylabub, Leander, Minerva, Prospero, Schneewitchen, The Pilgrim and Veilchenblau. I chose favorites for perfume, good repetition, disease resistance and show that they have given me this year.
