I am desperate and begging for help please! My yorkie Belle just had emergency spleen removal Friday evening . she was terribly anemic & the vet felt a mass on her abdomen. And after bloodwork, x-rays & and exploratory surgery removed her spleen. He thinks its probably an autoimmune system problem that were dealing with now. So I picked her up at noon yesterday and brought her home and he said: the most important thing right now is to get her eating again and put some more weight back on her and try to help with her anemia . But I cannot get her to eat anything. I have tried boiled chicken, rice, cottage cheese, canned pumpkin, tuna & the Science Diet a/d formula food the vet sent. She doesnt want ANY of these choices. She has maybe eaten the equivalent of two tablespoons of chicken & maybe two licks of cottage cheese since noon yesterday.
