I am dreaming of the time when I can leave WI and finally retire to my familys land in WV. I want to sell the house were living in and build one somewhere on the Thompson mountain by Dad and Susan B. Thompson and my uncle Steve. I want to be buried next to my family in the family cemetery on the property and leave my daughter Cadhla Laureen Cox the land when I die. I may not have been a son, but I am the last in a line of proud Thompsons and I want to keep the legacy going for my daughter. Shes a Thompson by blood, if not by name and shes dreaming of farming and raising livestock and the family has room for that there. My heart still longs for my family and the mountains and the friends I left behind so many years ago. Its true, WV is almost heaven and it wont be long before Im in heaven again...Doug has agreed that he can live there and is willing to come with me and Im pretty sure Cady wont be far behind. It may not be this year or next, it depends on how long we need to be here for his mother, but it wont be another twenty years either! West Virginia dreaming...
