I am excited to announce that the Global Game Jam is once again upon us. New Zealand kicks us off in just under 15 hours and at 5 PM tomorrow 1/24/14, the fun starts here. For those of you new to the GGJ, the challenge is to make a game with a small team in under 48 hours. The game must make use of a theme that is revealed to the participants at the start of the event. We still have a few slots available. Details can be found at this page: globalgamejam.org/2014/jam-sites/raritan-valley-community-college Also, if you are on campus or wish to come by, Saturday is filled with informative lectures about different aspects of game development, art, programming and mathematics. These lectures are free and open to the campus. They are held in Room W222. The lectures start at 10 am and conclude at 5:00 pm.
