I am excited to finally share with you all...... I will be returning to LA in October to do a recording session with Nathan East. Nathan has played bass in Eric Claptons band for almost thirty years. He plays in a multi platinum contemporary jazz band called Fouplay , and at the time of this post, his solo album is #1 on the contemporary jazz charts. He has played with Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Daft Punk, Elton John, Phil Collins, Quincy Jones, George Benson, Joe Satriani, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel, George Harrison, Mariah Carey, BB King and Whitney Houston, to name literally a tiny percentage of his discography. As a long time Clapton fan, it is the understatement of the year to say Im super excited to have Nathan playing on the new album. I have to thank Kenny Aronoff for making the connection for me. He definitely went above and beyond. What an honor it is to have Anton Fig, Kenny Aronoff and now Nathan East on the new album.....Thank God for electric guitars!
