I am fed up with school. Houston was absent Thursday and Friday for vomiting and fever (parent notes were accepted)! Sunday, he waked up with pink eye...so I had his doctor call in a prescription and fax an excuse for Monday and Tuesday. They dont normally see patients with pink eye unless theyre younger than 2 years. Yesterday morning, he woke up, eyes still matted and running with symptoms that were no better (even little scabs in the corners of his eyes)! Then today, I send him only to receive a call that the FAXED doctors excuses for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will not work because he wasnt actually seen in the office. So...you mean to tell me, that a child that has visibly been sick for more than a week is now in jeopardy with too many parent notes?!? I am pissed and seriously contemplating home school, down to the car line and the way things are handled on the playground...ONE IRATE MAMA!!!
