I am feeling so thankful … for a million reasons that are too complicated to explain but my kid just walked into the house and fell asleep without one word. For the first time in three years she stayed awake 12 hours straight :) and …. She just had the best day of her life at her first SBRA Mini finals and brought home her first buckle and then some but - she didnt do this alone. She has been on an interesting journey for the past three years and there have been some significant lows -- blessed she is to have such amazing friends who stand by her side when she is struggling and blessed i am to have their mothers as my friends. Marnie Greenwood-Harrison - I cant find the words but I know you get it cause I saw you crying too :) This day could not have ended more perfectly. AND to make it all that sweeter - the crew from Sandhills Stable did an amazing job this weekend - with personal bests popping up all over the place. Every one of you should be proud of the progress you have made this year with your horses… I am amazed at how much a few months can change things! Big thanks to Tyrelle DeWitt and Karletta DeWitt for sharing their knowledge so freely with the girls -- and to Bonnie DeWitt and Roger for creating a place these girls can grow and struggle and grow again while feeling supported. That, is all. xox
