I am finding that the things I know to be true about horses, and my relationship with them, is helping me learn how to be a better human in the world. I spend my life teaching others how to better communicate with their horses, my horses spend their life teaching me how to communicate better with people. Though there are many differences in horses and humans, the lessons they teach us can have profound impact on our lives if we are open to the lesson. I am coming to realize that with each new step in my life, my relationship with horses grows and changes as well. That is pretty darn cool.
