I am finding this gale storm exciting from a research perspective...we have been working hard to set up a fully independent home in an isolated rural situation on maori land and the rule of success is how well the whanau are handling the experience. So far kids are content and happy enough even though the gale is blowing 100Kph outside and heavy rain has started. Our alternative power system seems to be holding up so far and our wireless internet is still operating..i am feeling a tiny bit proud of the mahi that Ahikaa Roa Trust is trying to share with our whanau and hapu who need stability and security for their own situation.
