I am getting my Mo-Jo back! I have had the busiest day I have had - TopicsExpress

I am getting my Mo-Jo back! I have had the busiest day I have had in at least a year! I went to Walmart and picked up a couple of pieces of material to do the borders on two quilts I am working on right now. For the third time I got to visit with a young man who has a 6 month old baby. He doesnt know Jesus. He cuts fabric and always gets called to cut fabric so I have a chance to talk to him about Jesus. Who knew that Jesus uses WalMart to get His Word out! After lunch I came home and worked on cleaning my sewing stuff and sorted thread. Do you know that you will eventually have 400-500plus spools and cones if you sew long enough? Tonight, I am making the samples of some of the projects we will do in the Skyline Beginning Sewing and Quilting Group. Each person or pair of members will receive their own copy of a little sewing manual that I put together. I have used it on three different sewing groups at Skyline. I cant wait to see the pride you will have when you begin to complete the first projects. It looks like we will have as many as 32 in the group. I am hoping to have a couple of ladies who sew, to come to group to help with those who have no experience! If you have the manual for your sewing machine, take a look at the parts of the machine. Set your machine up and locate those parts. You will want to locate: The presser foot The feed dogs The tension dial. The reverse switch The lever that takes the presser foot up and down The foot feed The bobbin The off/on switch The path for winding a bobbin The path for setting up the top thread How to set up the bobbin Have a great week. Pray for our group. There may be members who need a new friend, need prayer for their lives, or, maybe a relationship with Jesus. We will have prayer each time we meet, and we will take prayer requests!
