I am getting ready for a musical adventure to the remote island of Kwajalein Atoll (part of the Marshall Islands) with Eric Fridrich and the Wanderlust. The band includes Eric Fridrich (guitar, harmonica vocals), Leif Totusek (guitar), Dylan Hughes (bass) and myself on drums. Well be flying out of Seattle on September 30th, stopping for the night in Hawaii, and then taking a long flight across the Pacific to the tiny island of Kwaj. Well have performances and workshops throughout the week there. One day we are flying to an island called Roi-Namur for a performance there. The Quality of Life Committee of Kwajalein Atoll is sponsoring our tour to bring music and cultural exchange to their island. On the way back we have a brief stopover in Hawaii and then well return to Seattle on October 8th. I am looking forward to visiting this beautiful Pacific island, spreading music and happiness as we go!
