I am glad to see Tom Ross be sacked by UNCs board. Good riddance. At UNC he was inept and incompetent in taking action to deal with the scandals there. Have a campus cop walk him to the door and take his keys. Now. But if the board brings in Pope, they may as well shut the damned place down and abandon higher education altogether. Surely not. Surely. But on the other hand, here in NC we have learned to expect the worst from our leaders and their appointees. Stand by.
