I am going to have to stop vintage sewing machine buying. Several weeks ago I bought a 221K, after already having a treadle 201K in cabinet that went thru the floods. It turns out it was the older fancy scrolled type :) :) :) and still turns. Plus I had bought a tired ole 27 in 2011, with leg irons and 5 drawers to do up, (but it does have reasonable Pheasant decals) . Then came a portable 306K (Tan two colour) which is almost pristine. Next was a 201K knee operated portable (plainer faceplate). Then a Singer Starlet, cause it looked so darned cute. And next a 15K 88 in a cabinet, well cared for but a little crazing on some of the paint. And yesterday a 99K portable. I bought a original hand crank attachment in between all the machines, and I intend to attach it to this the 99 once I swap the solid wheel for one of the spoked wheels on one of the treadles. I also bought a 161157 Automatic Zigzagger with a extra set of cams, and have a 86662 buttonhole attachment on its way to me. Phew . . . BUT I would like to get my hands on a 301 !
