I am going to share these wonderful words for all of us that have questions today. This is from my good friends, Jerrel-Cheryl Venable. Thanks for posting that today. I am sure it will speak to many of us......... Have you ever been upset with God because of difficulties that have entered your world? Sicknesses, struggles in your family, difficulties on the job, the death of a loved one, or other calamities can sometimes cause us to ask God, “Why?” Have you ever thought about the emotion behind that question? “Why?” That was where Job was after his catastrophic losses and illness. “Why did this happen to me?” Job was anxious, depressed, and angry with God! God did show up in his own time but he never verbally answered Job’s question as to “why.” The answer for that was in the relationship. God was there for Job. He didn’t work according to Job’s timetable … but he was there. He was there all the time. Jesus reminds us to think about the source of our difficulties. He didn’t cause them … Satan did! John 10:10-11 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” The first step in emotional healing is to understand that Satan is the source of your difficulties … not God! Rebuke the thief and he will flee from you and began again to build your relationship with God. He wants you to have an abundant life!
