I am happy and proud of my baby girl Tierra who decided that she wants to serve her country in the Navy. Last night family, Church family and friends came together give her best wishes. My heart is truly heavy this morning with the realization that in a few hours my baby will be leaving home to start her new adventure (tears rolling down my face). Tierra Darden you have been a wonderful daughter and a precious soul, we have watch you changed from a girl into the beautiful woman you are today. We have taught you throughout the years to fear God always and put him first in all things, to be respectful to others and always give everything you do a 100%. So my sweet daughter, you are flying out of the nest to build your own nest and future, do not be distracted by the bright and shiney things of this world, keep your eyes focus on your goals. You have great potential so its up to you now in who you use it. I love you and you have made me proud over the years and even more so today. Semper Fi my love, I wish steady winds and calm seas.
