I am having a great time in Guyana with my friends and family. Although the government is shut down and I am officially unemployed, my commemorative stamp was launched and I am a happy camper. My home Guyana honored a few of the women in aviation and I was honored for being one of the first female military and commercial pilots. I love my country and I plan to give back.
