I am hoping to sneak away for a few hours tomorrow to get in a hike using my Hillsound Trail Crampons. I will be getting a late start, so I am hoping to find something were parking isnt going to be an issue. I initially thought about Cucamonga Peak, but Im guessing the parking lot will be packed. I also thought about Keller Peak, but I never know where I am allowed to park up there in the winter. Does anyone have a suggestion for me? Im thinking 8-12 miles, within 60 mins of Riverside.
