I am in a Motorcycle group called The Inglorious Bikers and we do a lot of charity ride outs and Marshal theses events, and we are Doing a Dusk till Dawn Motorcycle ride, setting off from Squires cafe in Leeds going to Blackpool to watch the sunset then riding over to Scarborough for the sunrise and then back to Squires cafe, most riders will be up from the morning and going to work then riding the route covering over 300 miles and taking over 12 hrs to complete (This is combined with riding and breaks) We will be setting from Leeds at around 6pm to get to Blackpool (all on A/B roads) then after the sunset riding over to Scarborough for sunrise and breakfast then after a short rest back to Leeds to Squires cafe for even more coffee and final rest. This will be harder for me as I have 3 spinal conditions, I have 2 herniated discs ,spinal stenosis and ankylosing spondylitis and am on constant buprenorphine patches (morphine) for the pain and will not be wearing or taking any medication for the duration of the ride (if Kendal can keep fighting Neuroblastoma) then I can do this. This is a group event and there are high risks involved but we all look after and support each other. Kendal is fighting a particularly aggressive form of cancer called Neuroblastoma. Kendal is undergoing treatment here in Leeds however there are new treatments available in America that can improve Kendal’s chances of complete recovery. Kendal’s family are trying to raise £500,000 to make sure she gets this treatment. Lets all try and help by donating what we can. So please dig deep and donate/sponsor us.
