I am learning why they say no good deed goes unpunished. You would think that over the years I would have learned this lesson, but I have a big heart. I need to stop thinking that most people are kind and honest too. I have tried to teach our kids to have a humble heart, to believe they are no better than anyone. I feel like I shouldnt have to teach them how to handle being taken advantage of because it shouldnt happen but sadly it does. I feel like I have a good heart. I try to see the best in everyone, and I try not to judge others. I just wish people could show me the same curtesy. If you borrow it give it back, if you ask a favor say thank you, if you cause pain say Im sorry. I never do things for people expecting to get something in return, but be kind, and do the right thing when others go out of their way to help you.
