I am leaving San Francisco. It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement. I love SF and its where I belong. But the fact is, it’s a tough city to boot strap a new business in. And while my heart is here, I simply love Cooking Stoned more. Way more. That said, I do hope to return. But it is time to sh*t or get off the pot. I want to give Cooking Stoned the attention it deserves. I just feel the momentum is right. There have been some great opportunities this year, from MasterChef to the White House. So I need to stick with it. I think I am on to something big. At the end of August, I will be living in San Diego. Why? Good friends of mine have offered me a living situation I cannot refuse. They have a gorgeous house to film in, a beautiful backyard where I can garden and have chickens, and all for the right price. This move will also afford me more time to work on cooking classes, cookbooks, and a handful of other things I think the site could benefit from. It is time to take Cooking Stoned to the next level!
