I am loving the new house!!! The turkey, deer, fox and hawks that visit us are such a joy to watch. Our only neighbor is so kind and brings us fresh eggs often. Today I took off work early and went to Hanks and purchased some furniture. I felt so out of place doing that. Im still in shock over having a house and not being in my comfy little rv. That being said, I kinda miss my rv. It was a happy place that clay and I were so quick to get home to at the end of a work day. We were able to grow and learn thru our sacrifice of not having a home. It was beautiful but difficult. Every morning we wake after sleeping so good in the big bed and walk into the kitchen and just look around. We both have said that we feel like squatters. Its pretty comical! I chose the route of living in a rv for a reason. I was becoming a shopaholic and getting a little too wrapped up in worldly things. Cars, nice clothes, parties and indulgences were becoming a regular thing that I took for granted. When clay and I moved into the rv we slowly began to let those things go. We became at peace with our new found simplicity. I thank God and my willingness to be better, to learn and to grow, every day for my paths I have chosen in life. As hard as it may have been, nothing but beauty and good have come from it!! (And it toughened me up a lot) Never take simplicity for granted. It can teach you more than you ever thought possible.
