I am lucky to have met Shannen Marie. She has it all. She is beautiful, smart and kind. She has a voice that I love hearing every time she speaks. She is a lot like me, but just a lil different. Our musical tastes almost overlap perfectly. She has a sense of humor that can be inappropriate, but not too inappropriate, just enough. She is artsy where I am not. She has the biggest heart. She cried when i hit a bird driving down the road. She pulls for the underdog. She doesnt know how to be rude. She takes care of me when I am sick or injured without hesitation. We can discuss hot button issues from opposite ends and not get mad or yell at each other. She has never raised her voice at me. She has never called me a name, to my face anyway. She is not confrontational, like me. She just wants for everyone, and I mean everyone, to learn how to be happy, and then be happy. She is very independent. And it feels so amazingly awesome to hold her in my arms. She is my best friend. I still remember the first time I heard her voice (it was a voicemail and I still have it saved on my phone) and the first time I saw her. She is very special to me.
