I am married to a Widower, I can tell you first hand my husbands wounds go deep. I have often asked him to tell me the whole story, the pain, what it was like. He simply says it was hell, to be the one to make the choice to turn off life support, to feel like you made the wrong choice, to feel like you should have done more.
