I am not asking this question of you, Gene Ramsey, to poke you or be a smart-ass. I really want to know the answer...but I would request that you think about it for a while before answering. Heres the question: At what point can you come to accept that sincere Christians might think differently about a point in Scripture or an absolute and consider the subject to be between that person and God? I hope I worded it sufficiently. A follow up question would then naturally be to ask the same question in the specific context of LGBTQ, marriage equality and the UMC. I think these questions will be important in 2016. Anyone can respond, but I am particularly interested in Genes thoughts on the matter.
