I am not posting these things for shock value or shame - but to try to educate and encourage change in our habits. Lead bullets fragment and spread when they enter the body of a hunters game animal. The tiny bits are eaten along with the discarded leavings by other animals, often eagles who are frequent scavengers. The lead particles then permeate the bloodstream, causing severe neurological damage. These bits can also be in the meat that is consumed by humans. Please watch this video to see an easy solution that can be chosen by hunters. Hundreds of bald eagles die every year from the discarded meat of hunters.
