I am not the kind of guy that hides his feelings. My heart has always ruled my mind. I have to give voice to my emotions. I have to give them life. Good or bad, I never deny what Im feeling. Since I lost my beautiful Alicyn, I have shared many things here, publicly, for all to see. I want others to know that grief is real. Very real. It is an emotional and physical experience like no other. Grief is selfish. Grief is hateful, Grief is crippling, But grief is healing. I want you to know that when you are faced with the darkness and despair of heartbreak, you can survive. Its painful and its suffocating, but its survivable. As much as I suffer, I get stronger after each wave hits me. I am finding slivers of light in the darkness that threatens me every day. Im learning that I have more strength than I thought. So, I will continue to share my thoughts and my feelings. I have to. It is how I am making sense of the incomprehensible. I love you all for the support. You just dont know what it means to me.
