I am now logging into FB and seeing all the horrific news about the shooting in Paris. It may seem like we live in a world that is filled with hatred and injustice. And that is partially true. But in the face of all this darkness, we must rise as the voice of hope. We must become the LIGHT to defeat the DARKNESS. We cant just sit around all quiet and say we cant do anything. Yes, its true, we cannot bring back the lives we lost. But theres definitely a lot that we can do. We have to be PROACTIVE and not reactive. I see that the #killallMuslims is trending. So, instead of focusing on that, I CHOOSE to focus on the hopeful trend of #savehumanity. I want to see HUMANITY come together and say NO MORE. I am sick and tired of seeing people lose their lives every single day because of some crazy nut case. And I am sick and tired of having to explain to people that we, Muslims, are against all this. #notinmyname #savehumanity #weareonepeople #prayingforthepeopleofParis
