Nemos pacing on leash is a bit inconsistent but hes easy to handle and when he greets fellow dogs with a frantically wagging tail and happy play bows its clear my bouncy boy would be thrilled to have some new four-legged friends. In the right hands this stunning pup could be a masterpiece, hes a loving, joyful soul with the potential to be a real credit to his breed. But Nemo cant do it alone. He needs a committed forever family to unlock the good boy within so please, give him a chance to shine by opening your home and heart today, Nemo is so worth it! 07/08/2014 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - AVERAGE Exam Type BEHAVIOR Nemo calmly greeted the assessor with a soft body and wagging tail and then proceeded to lean into the assessor. He remained calm and relaxed throughout the handling items of the assessment. Nemo showed no interest in food and minimal interest in toys and rawhides; so food/resource guarding is inconclusive. He approached the helper dog with soft body language. Nemo maintained soft body language throughout his interaction with the assessor. He has displayed no concerning behaviors while at the care center. The behavior department feels that he can go to an average home. Look: 1 Dogs eyes are averted, with tail wagging and ears back. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessors cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1 Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft or squinty, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1 Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1 Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1 Dog gently pulls back his paw. Food: No interest. Toy: 1 Minimal interest. Dog may smell or lick toy, and then turn away. Rawhide: 1 Minimal interest. Dog may smell or lick rawhide, then turns away. Dog-to-dog: 2 Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, lip long or neutral.
