I am out of the hospital and been home since Tuesday. I am doing - TopicsExpress

I am out of the hospital and been home since Tuesday. I am doing fine, but PLEASE continue to pray for me. I just want to say how thankful I am for all the well wishes, prayers, gifts, phone calls and many visits I got. I would also like to add, I have the BEST family of anyone I know. I was NEVER left alone at the hospital by myself without a family member being with me for the whole 7 nights I was there. My sister Linda truly goes out of her way BIG TIME to be with me, please me, sees that my ever need is taken care of. She stayed with me 2 out of the 7 nights. She is someone that anyone would love to have as a care giver. Peg, spent 3 of the 7 nights at my bedside, waiting on my hand and foot. She is truly a blessing and gave me wonderful care. Plus, my niece Peggy spent a night and it was fun, like having her back home for a while. She was very sweet and caring. My last care giver at the hospital was my baby doll Cassandra, who also spent the night with me at the hospital. This 17 year old is one in a million. I totally believe that. She has grown up helping with my everyday care and even though she had to sleep in a chair at the hospital in my room, she did not complain one time. She gave me lots of hugs and kisses, showering me with her love and care. Also, I have two brothers that showed lots of support for me. Larry who isnt in the best of health himself not only called me everyday but made it up to the hospital to visit me, not once, but twice. My brother Forrest also came to the hospital a couple of times, gave me calls, always checking to see if I need anything, even bringing his two boys to the hospital to see me, which I loved. I always love seeing Michael and G I even got a stuff animal, which I kept in my bed the whole time. I have nieces, Michele, who came several times, has also been to the house, ran to the store a couple of times for me, brought me in lunch one day, gave me a Devotion book to read, put me on prayer list, so on. A lot to be thankful for. Her husband Dirk, also came to visit, asking me to call him if I needed anything. My niece Darcey, nephew Grant and his girlfriend all came to visit, which I was happy about. My nephew Blake who is away at school, still called to check up on my, so glad to hear from him as well. Then I have Shawn who gave me a WONDERFUL gift by bring my little baby boy baby Shawn to see me, a couple of times. Talk about something to make my day. I love that child. Also, they bought me two get well balloons, which are still flying high. I have my nephew Ali and his wife Sakina, who came to see me, also several times, bringing me beautiful flowers, which sat in my window and I enjoyed everyday. Sakina also made her famous cookies and muffins, a big old plate of them, which was for my company and the staff to munch on, and they sure did, they disappeared in no time. I have a nephew Shane who lives out of the State, but he, his wife Ashley and their baby, (my baby) called to talk to me in the hospital, and it was good hearing from them. I loved it when I wasnt feeling good and I hear that little boys voice. He is a sweetie. I wish I could see them, but the phone calls were great. I have a niece Lori and both her and my great niece Tea came for a visit. Glad to see them. Lori had no trouble driving to Columbus, finding the hospital, but getting lost after she GOT TO THE HOSPITAL!! Now that is Lori. Ha. Carlos, called my everyday, and has been to the house several times in the last 5 days. He cares so much about me and my health, telling me all the time how much he loves me, how special I am, really words that touch my heart. My other visitors I am so thankful for as well. Marco, Peggys future husband came over and I am always happy to talk with him, Portia, came over with Larry, and she can make anyone feel better, shes got great energy and puts a smile on everyones face. I was glad she made it over. All the friends who called the hospital, added wishes and prayers to facebook, kept in contact with my family, I am totally blessed to have you in my life. I would live to point out one person that has kept me busy with phone calls every single day, rather in the hospital or at home, (sometimes 2 times each day) is Candy Crow-Jones. She has been a real trooper. Offering to do things for me, offering to cook, ran errands, just coming over to stay with me, if I need her. She tells me great funny stories about her grandbaby that makes me laugh, and gives my positive feedback. I count her as a God sent. The last person I have to thank is the most wonderful brother-in-law in the world. Phil McDaniel. This man took me to the E.R. along with Peg and Linda, on the night I went in. The time was 5pm. He left at 3a.m. and he had to go home as he went to work at 5 in the morning. I am so thankful to Linda and Peg for doing this, (they also have in all my hospital stays), but I question how many brother-in-laws would. I would guess not many. He also came to see me several times. He called me everyday, at the hospital and now at home. He offers to do anything I need. He even made a thing on my wheelchair to carry my oxygen! Yes, he is one of a kind. OK, I know this has been a book, but I cant stop when I want to brag about how many blessings I have in my life because of all of you. God sure is good to me. Thanks, Everyone Aunt DeeDee.
