I am positive I posted this before. I was purposefully taken to see a documentary about Janis Joplin when I was eight years old. When she asks if everyone is okay in this video, it is because a State of Emergency had been declared at the Woodstock Music Festival. The government treated it like they would a natural disaster and flew in military aid, food, doctors. Babies were born at this festival. So many thousands of unexpected people showed up that the roads were put at a complete standstill for the duration of the festival...no one could get in or out...resources were completely tapped. Janis Joplin had to be flown in by helicopter for her performance. She knew all of this, hence, her concern.
