I am preparing to Paint The Town Blue on February 19th to show support for our Law Enforcement Officers. A campaign sponsored by The West Virginia Auxiliary Wives Behind the Badge, designed for local business to show their support for the men and women that protect their business every day. We all know it would be nice not to need them, but how many local business depend on someone to respond when their business is being disrupted, stolen from or vandalized? This is the perfect opportunity to show your appreciation and support for the officers that always answer your call (even when its an alarm call at 3am-and I know that happens because the phone rings at my house when it does)! All you need to do is simply hand a blue bow on your business door. Bows can be purchased from the WV WBTB, contact me with questions! You can also put out blue lights, encourage your employees to wear blue or even just verbally let these officers know that you support them! Lets see what business show up the bluest on February 19th! I totally expect the Courthouse, DHHR, Banks, Gas Stations, Shops and Restaurants in town to be blue because I know my phone rings to come answer those alarms and disturbances! Whos with me?
