I am really struggling. My 5 yr old sheltie Jasmine was diagnosed with EPI (April 2013). That is under control. On 8/5/14 my husband called to tell me she didnt eat dinner. This is VERY unusual. I chked her temp nd her gums. Gums looked white. Thought ahe was dehydrated. Rushed her to vet on 8/6/14 to get her fluids since my attempts to get fluids in her wasnt working nd she still wasnt eating. Vet took one look nd took blood nd confirmed IMHA. I am a mess. Her PCV was 29. Started her in 15mg of pred a day. Still not eating so i was force feeding her. 8/9/14 went back for bloodwork. Dropped to 17. Upped pred to 30mg a day nd she started eating on her own again. Started her on 250mg day of Myco on 8/11/14, bloodwork on 8/13/14 was 26. She seems fine bt we are keeping an eye on her bt yesterday 8/18/14 got bloodwork nd it is 22. I am freaking cause i expected it to go up not drop. Any advise or comfort is welcomed cause i am losing it.
