I am sick at the thought of people going hungry and the politicians trying to cut funding for food stamps ,but,I must also confess I was more than a bit teed off this afternoon after working an 10 hr day (and receiving an $11 2wk paycheck)...spent $20.00 at grocery store (my budgeted amount for almost a week) , stopped at Walgreens to pickup 1 of my meds...and the 20 something in front of me uses a Lonestar card (Texas food stamps) to buy $6.00 worth of candy...just a good thing I was able to hold my tongue...not sure if it was moral indignity or jealousy...but I was not happy at all...Makes me start to think maybe I should file for any and all government aid I might get...tired of trying to do the right thing and work hard.
