I am sitting at a service station 9 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham International airport. I have been here for about 2 hours. Liz missed a connecting flight at 3pm today and has been stranded in a Toronto airport waiting on a 9pm flight that was delayed even further to almost 11 pm... Should land about 1am. Otherwise she would have to wait until tomorrow to fly back into Charlotte. I just finished a stale ham and cheese sandwich and managed to get my van to stop boiling over, which I just paid $400 to have fixed. Will have to call back about that later. In ten years of touring, this is the first flight Liz has missed. She was pretty upset at first. But I reminded her that traveling, like everything else in life can be viewed as a problem in getting from one place to another OR as an adventure!
