I am so blessed to have Ty as my son! Today he had a baseball game that conflicted with orientation at our new church (which is required in order to serve). I told him that he will have to skip his game (because we do not serve the idol of sports....as for the Turner house, we serve the Lord), and he was like, Oh! Thats right! Ok. No drama or protest. He immediately wanted to make sure he communicated to his coach that he was going to miss the game, and was EXCITED about learning about our church and being able to serve. I LOVE the fact that serving God is more important to him (which has eternal dividends) than serving a baseball game (which has dividends of about 2 hours). My Booga is the BOMB!
