I am so stinkin giddy! I just learned that Mike Mains & The Branches is based in #Detroit. There is a real possibility that we could see them live sometime. Soon, hopefully. Ill be on the lookout. Their second album is amazing. It rocks! They have edged out my second favorite band for the #2 spot on my favorite bands list; they are almost tied with Family Force 5 as my favorite band (but theyre not crunk and just cant quite touch Ghost Ride the Whip which happens to be the best song ever). Chances are that if you spot me driving and singing, then Im probably jamming to MM&TB. Anyway, I cant wait to get their 1st album. Yes, this is my second post singing their praises because I really think that everyone NEEDS to listen to them. It will make you happy. Promise.
