I am steping-up to run for a position on the Home Owners Association board. Here is my BIO: I am Charles T Pendergrass, better known as Ted, the volunteer DJ for most of our events here at Lake Jordan. I have also volunteered to lead the social committee into a better Communty for our families. I am doing this with the help of many of my fellow Lake Jordan Residents. I have been a part of the neighborhood watch committee in the past as well. I was the second house built as a part of phase II, and have lived 2 houses up Lake Jordan Drive from the Clubhouse since Thanksgiving weekend 2007. As a retired Army NCO I do bring certain skills to the board such as leadership, management and organizational skills. As a result of my military experience I am also safety focused. I am currently working full time as well as going to college evenings which limits my time, but I have Friday Evening and weekends to dedicate to the Lake Jordan Home Owners Association. It is not my past experience that I am running on, its my vision for the future of Lake Jordan families. My vote will always be for the quality of life of our families and community building with a focus on safety and security for all residents. I have already posted some of my ideas and suggestions, as a part of the social committee, on the Beautiful Lake Jordan Facebook group that I created so we can share our photos and ideas with our community anytime. For fun I posted a pole on the group to name our American Bald Eagles! So far Pride and Glory are winning! Not many neighborhoods can boast of having its own Bald Eagle Family! Please make suggestions if you know something we can do to make Living at Beautiful Lake Jordan a more enjoyable experience. Even if I am not on the board I will continue to work hard on the social committee and lobby the board for the things that will make our community more enjoyable and more secure.
