! I am still a little sore from my orientation visit to Virginia Tech with Daryl and Jayla Jones. We had a blast. It brought back such great memories for me. For my fellow Hokies , on day two I walked from the lane stadium parking lot to across campus to Whitmore. On my way there, I gave three families directions to different places on campus. Finally I met up with Jayla and her Dad who only had to leave from Dietrick since I dropped them off. As I walked across that beautiful campus, I just took it all in. Enjoyed the fresh mountain air. Only disappointing part was I had to come back to Newport News which is the same way I felt over twenty two years ago when I left up there.
