I am super excited about the release of His Name Among All Nations. The story of the song is below. I sang this song in 40 churches over the past few months as my husband and I were reporting our ministry in Hungary. It was wonderfully received by the congregations we visited and many requested that I record it. Well, here it is. I made the recording in Wisconsin at e-Dreams Studio with my good friend and recording engineer extraordinaire, Dan Gnader. Please visit the music store to hear a sample of the song and download it to your mp3 library. It will be a blessing to you. Story of the song: In 2011, Andy Gleiser visited Dr. Jim and Valerie Knies in Budapest, Hungary with his youth group. During his visit, the Lord worked deeply in his heart regarding the availability of the Gospel of Christ and His work on the cross to people of all nations. As a result, Andy wrote “His Name Among All Nations”. His good friend, Greg Habegger has written a beautiful melody to contain this message. Ann Newton, with suggestions from Valerie Knies, has masterfully composed an accompaniment to present this great hymn. For this team of musicians, this song has deep, personal meaning, as all are full-time servants of the Lord. It is His love that constrains them to bring the gospel to the world. With her lovely and versatile voice, Valerie passionately sings this song. This missions’ song of inspiration, "His Name Among All Nations" will encourage believers everywhere to follow the example of Christ to proclaim the gospel and to rejoice in the work of the cross. Words of the song: His Name Among All Nations Andy Gleiser O the love of Christ the Shepherd To seek out from every land, Fallen and rebellious sinners Long before the world began. Overwhelmed with deep compassion For His sheep astray and lost. He devised a rescue mission That would take Him to the cross. With the love of Christ constraining, We will live for him Who died, ‘Til his name among all nations Be made known and glorified. Oh the call of Christ the Savior To propel His ransomed ones, To go forth in gospel power To all people tribes and tongues! Millions die with no salvation; Half the world untold and lost. Boldly go across the nations And preach nothing but the cross. With the love of Christ constraining, We will live for him Who died, ‘Til his name among all nations Be made known and glorified. Oh the grace of Christ the Sov’reign To receive around His throne, Distant souls from every nation Once estranged, but now His own! Bound by blood, we’ll stand together, Unified by love’s great cost; With one voice, we’ll sing forever, “Thank You Jesus, for the cross!” With the love of Christ constraining, We will live for him Who died, ‘Til his name among all nations Be made known and glorified.
