I am sure I had forgotten the wonders and excitement and joy of walking down the path of Life, excitedly wondering what new adventure and blessing was just around that next bend! Instead, I stubbornly decided to stay in one spot, fearing to go anywhere, yet knowing I couldnt go back the way I came either. I wish I could say that I finally got going when God beckoned me. Instead, He had to come and light a fire under me and before I knew it I was running around that bend. I am so grateful to Him for pulling and dragging me once again. Life is, and should be uncertain and wondrous; adventuresome and awesome; disappointing and fulfilling. There always will be joy, to balance out the sorrow; Love to overcome disappointment; and Life to overcome Death. I will choose to remember the end of this book in my life as a good novel. There certainly were happy chapters, and sad chapters, full of some great characters that lovingly became family and friends. Never boring, for sure. I thank those that have loved me, in spite of me, and ask for your prayers, to help me keep on the right path. May I never let Him out of my sight again, and if I do, I pray I run to catch up! I hope to be on that road to help other travelers navigate, or offer comfort and shelter, as it was so freely offered to me I hope to see old friends and family as I head to this new, unknown destination, and I cant wait to see the new friends yet to come.
