I am sure it has been evident from my posts that I am frustrated with my health care and health in general. I keep getting bad news....I understand that it could be worse, and that fact is not lost on me. Being secretly (illegally) adopted obviously leaves me with no family history, so theres that...but a few years ago when this whole gouty-arthritis thing started, my doctor prescribed Tramadol. One of the reasons, was because she said that there arent any side effects, and no chance of addiction. I have decided I am sick of taking so many different medicines, and I want OFF the Tramadol. Well....apparently it isnt that easy. I read up on it....and there IS terrible withdrawals, and the worst of them is the night kicks where I flail about in my sleep, if I get any. This is gonna be a long process....so for now I am reducing the amount I take, and that alone makes me break out in random sweat fits, and I hate it. I caution you next time you are prescribed Tramadol to be VERY careful with it, because despite what they may have initially said about it, there ARE side effects, and they arent pretty. Hope I can do this on my own.
