I am taking this opportunity to thank Ms Jones for a productive meeting today and for the hospitality extended to me. I took note of the amount of documented evidence and work put out by Ms Jones and those dedicated to the cause of making a difference in the lives of all our children afflicted with Cerebral Palsy What I can say from experience in being associated with various groups and NGOs,is that some persons carry the brunt of the workload,sometimes persons depend on others who are strong willed and have a determined grit about them,what you would call a no-nonsense person . I gather this from my meeting today, and also listening to Ms Jones.Some might say,that maybe she is doing this to score political points ,others might think, it is being done to garner popularity,but I know,I do not think {because as a former Executive officer of the PSA}, we were taught in Industrial Relations, you do not use the word think so, I know, that Ms Jones is doing what she has to do for Cerebral Palsy and the Association, because she has her heart in it, and she wants to see the powers to be do something tangible for CP children . I can tell you parents,she cannot do it alone,I am going to stand with her and any other, who want to see something tangible done, to change the mindset of all naysayers,political directorate and the public at large. To give credence to children with CP, and to understand the trials that the parents go through on a daily basis, to bring a level of care,sanctity,respect,and love for their children. It is high time that we put our heads together., Join the fight to bring awareness in the first instance,and to lobby with a sense of fortitude to get all what is supposed to be done, medically and physically,and therapeutic for all our CP children, be it here in sweet T&T or abroad,something must be done,as a matter of fact something has to be done, as Black Stalin would say Stand up for something,or you must die for Nothing Once again,thank you Ms Jones for your hospitality and kind courtesies extended.
