I am thankful today for the weekend that I had to get away... I am thankful for a group of ladies that loved me enough to give me my own room, knowing that silence for me is golden, I am thankful for a husband that took on life with two hands, wrangled, corralled, chauffeured, feed and watered, nurtured and kept all the kids alive. I am thankful for a wonderful Aunt who took a small yellow headed boy on an overnight (even if she did take him to the puppy house:) I am thankful that the Lord still speaks in that still small voice, I am grateful to have had the desire and the ability to get in a long pre dawn run, where I followed the little dipper out and the big dipper back, I am overwhelmed by seeing my first shooting star on that same run, I am amazed at how, when I am exhausted, overwhelmed, underwhelmed and very dramatic, that He knows what I need, and works it out so wonderfully! Rejoicing today in my salvation, my family, my health and my sane mind!
